to kiss you whenever and where ever you want

“It’s silly really…” Kurt scoots to the top of the bed, sitting against the headboard more so he has something else to do while he wills the blush in his cheeks to fade.

Blaine frowns, “Of course it isn’t going to be silly, come on, tell me what’s wrong.”

“I thought you were going to kiss me today, on the stairs at school.”

“Oh.” Blaine stands from where he had been placing his flowers in a vase on his desk and moves so he is sitting cross-legged on the bed in front of Kurt. “Kurt I wanted to kiss you so badly…I almost did…”

“It’s okay, I understand why.”

Blaine takes his hand, “Do you though? Because if you and I were thinking along the same lines you wouldn’t look so sad.”

“I get it, I get that it’s McKinley and we will never be allowed to act like that in public until we’re both out of this place, but just at first, I couldn’t help but think maybe you were embarrassed by me.”

“Never.” There is a note of ferocity injected into his voice that is rarely ever heard from the gentle boy. “I was scared Kurt, it would have been the perfect moment to kiss you and I chickened out.”

“It wouldn’t have been perfect though because chances are we would have ended up being pushed down the stairs by some jock…I know that the reason wasn’t anything to do with me…it was just insecurities…I shouldn’t have said anything.”

“You should talk about anything Kurt. We can try and be a bit more out there with PDA if you want.”

“No Blaine, please don’t ever think I want you to be uncomfortable for me. It wouldn’t be a good idea even if you wanted too, even if we were ready.”

“But it’s a good idea now…”

Kurt tucks his legs beneath him as Blaine leans forward and for the minutes they spend melting into one another, kissing and being loved, it didn’t matter they couldn’t do this at school, because have something most people at school don’t. They are in love, and the intimacy of this moment right now, can last them until they move together, into a better environment where they could make up for lost time.
